I know something similar has been asked here before, but I can't seem to figure it out.

I'm trying to display Chinese characters on my website, but the characters aren't showing up, despite using a font designed to display Chinese (Noto Sans SC).

@import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Noto+Sans+SC:wght@100&display=swap');

p {
  font-family: "Noto Sans SC", Arial, sans-serif;
}

It all looks good on my local machine, on Chrome:

    It's not a problem with the font, it's a problem with the *encoding*. Either you're not outputting the right HTTP Content-Type header, or the encoding you're outputting is somehow messed up. – deceze Jul 09 '21 at 07:38
