access a list using varibles or another list in python

Question

i want to acces a list of data in python like list_1 =[182908.774,2841.24568,'A',10,'W','N'] from the above list contains latitude,longitude,validity,speed,direction,direction. So, I want to access the above list_1 using their names "latitude,longitude,validity,speed,direction,direction" can any one help me out with this
