I have never had a sha256 fail on a Python package before. I was on some sketch public wifi. Was I hacked? How can I prevent this? Would a VPN help?

it can be even short disconnection and or other problem with connection which could download broken data. Try later. – furas Jun 13 '21 at 03:58
