I am using macOS Big Sur. My Rstudio can't install R package from source or can't open a CPP file. I was getting the exact error in this link( mac-os-x-r-error-ld-framework-not-found-corefoundation) and I followed the instruction. But then I got a second type error saying

clang: error: unsupported option '-fopenmp'
make: *** [corStruct.o] Error 1

Clearly OpenMP is not supported. But following the link issue on enabling parallel computing in MacOS (and many other links) did not help me either. What can I do? Spent almost two days on this problem! Any help would be much appreciated.

Try to follow the standard links to e.g. https://thecoatlessprofessor.com/programming/r-compiler-tools-for-rcpp-on-macos/ and study it carefully. It takes a little more work than on other platforms, but many people use R and Rcpp happily on macOS. – Dirk Eddelbuettel Jun 09 '21 at 20:52
