I cannot find a description of what is known as: "the JSF runtime". Could someone supply a description of it please.
I believe it is most likely manifest in the javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet class, in that this is in some way the "entry point" to the "runtime". However i can only find references to these concepts, not actual descriptions.
