Hello my problem is that I have to display the content of a textarea on a flyover in the same way. But my problem is when reading out the value of the textarea I am only getting one line instead of several lines, unless I press enters by myself.

So when my text in the textarea goes over several lines I receive (for example):

111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111

But when I am pressing enter at the end of each line I receive:

11111111111111111111111111\n11111111111111111111111111\n1111111111111111

I need the text to be as the second option. So when the textarea has to wrap the text into another line I want to receive a \n for the new line.

My problem is not to display the text in the right way, it is to read out the text correctly. When I read it out I dont receive the \n chars for every new line, which is problematicaly. So in conclusion I want \n s in my value everytime there is a visual line break in my textarea How can I fix this?
