I've been working on an mp3 player with tkinter and pygame.mixer

When I play some music files, I sometimes get this weird error:

[src/libmpg123/id3.c:482] error: No comment text / valid description?

I have no idea about what that means. Some files make this message pop up, some don't. Even weirder is that even with the error on, the song plays just fine and the app works as it should. I just want to see if someone ever stepped into this and at the very least know where is the problem, which I think lies in some of the audio metadata and its content, but I'm not that sure about that.

Thanks for the help, I'll try to answer all of the questions, since this is my first question ever on stackoverflow any tip/advice is appreciated :)

Most MP3 files today contain ID3 metadata, which precedes or follows the MP3 frames. [ID3 metadata](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ID3) can contain comments. It sounds like some of your MP3 files are corrupt or malformed. Probably the only thing you'll be able to do is handle the error gracefully (i.e. without crashing). – martineau Jan 08 '21 at 23:35
  • Thanks for the answer, actually the file doent crash but its just annoying seeing the console full of those red messages. I'll just ignore it. – Fra Sassone Jan 12 '21 at 14:52
