Retrieving creation date of file (FTP)

Does anyone know how to get the last modified date of a folder over FTP. I can get the last modified date of a file but not a folder. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Assuming you've checked the docs here, I'm not too familiar with C#. Have you tried recursively checking the files in the folder and picking the most recent last-modified date? – kevmo314 Jun 24 '11 at 02:11
  • Why this is flagged as possible dublication? creation date is not the same as modification/ – Tommix Mar 06 '13 at 14:01
