I am working on a xamarin application where I have to download a PPT file and opened the downloded ppt file from PowerPoint app (if available on a device)

Where does the file come from? Did you try `HttpClient` class? – medic17 Aug 22 '20 at 20:05

Xamarin is C#/.NET and a download works the same as it does in any .NET platform. This question has been asked and answered numerous times, there is no need to ask it again. If those earlier questions do not help you, please explain what is different about your scenario, – Jason Aug 22 '20 at 20:22
