I've been trying to figure this out, I'm an absolute beginner and I am simply trying to exclude a text label from a match. for example my text is

Office: Clerk of the Court Office: Supervisor of Elections Office: Property Appraiser

I just want to remove "Office: " from the above so that I'm left with

"Clerk of the Court" "Supervisor of Elections" "Property Appraiser"

sorry if this sound super basic I'm just hung up on it at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Looks like you are looking to create a regex, but do not know where to get started. Please check [Reference - What does this regex mean](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22937618) resource, it has plenty of hints. Also, refer to [Learning Regular Expressions](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4736) post for some basic regex info. Once you get some expression ready and still have issues with the solution, please edit the question with the latest details and we'll be glad to help you fix the problem. – Wiktor Stribiżew Jun 15 '20 at 23:29
  • Welcome to Stack Overflow. SO isn't a free code-writing service - what have you tried so far to solve the problem, and where are you getting stuck? Also, what language are you trying to implement this in? Answers may differ based on the RegExp "flavor" included in your language of choice. – esqew Jun 15 '20 at 23:30
