I'm looking for a lightweight, futureproof, private/secure solution to organizing my information. I've been looking at various projects such as Roam, Obsidian, Notion, but they're closed-source, proprietary formats. I've also looked at Emacs Org-Mode, but it's too complex.

If .rtf files could hyperlink to documents, that would be all I need. I know that they can handle attachments, but I would prefer linking in case I update the linked document. Does anyone know if this is possible?

  • Does [this](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2850575/what-is-the-rtf-syntax-for-a-hyperlink) help? – NickD May 31 '20 at 14:58
  • This question seems to be about RTF, not about emacs, or markdown or org-mode. – NickD May 31 '20 at 14:59
