How to remove files and folder Inno Setup

Question

I need to delete files from hard disk with Inno Setup.

We need to remove an old app version (not installed with Inno Setup), it was installed manually last year, and after remove old one, install the new one.

Some idea, Inno Setup script example? Thanks.

You should give more details about old app and what you want to do. Does it leave any certain traces on machine like making specific registry changes or creating any specific file or folder in certain places? You have 2 major steps to do what you want: 1- Find the old app and its traces 2- Give what you found to Inno for deleting. Use [InstallDelete] section:

[InstallDelete]
Type: files; Name: "{app}\*"
