recently i tried to generate certificates for my own use, but after generating and importing into chrome it get following error NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. after some digging i found out i need to provide SAN (subject alternative name) while generating certificates, but there is not enough information on how to do so. can any one help me generate proper certificates.
