I configured PHP on CentOS 7. I'm trying to install Prestashop on it. In spite of I configured PHP with nginX, In step System Compability I face with Apache permission errors. enter image description here

What is the reason?

  • The error needs to be written out as text so others can find it if they have the same issue. It can't be solely as a screenshot. – George Stocker Sep 07 '16 at 12:43
  • also: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32391891/how-to-set-ownership-for-apache-under-linux-centos and a Google search turns up more Stack Overflow questions that solve your issue: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=Recursive+write+permission+for+apache+user+site%3Astackoverflow.com – George Stocker Sep 07 '16 at 12:44
  • There is no written error in this case bud. @GeorgeStocker – Shojajou Sep 07 '16 at 12:49
  • Those giant red "x"'s in your screenshot are errors. "Recursive write permissions for Apache user on ~//" What did you think the "X" meant? – George Stocker Sep 07 '16 at 12:52
  • @GeorgeStocker Please remove `duplicate` tag. I searched all over stackoverflow and google and didn't find any near solution to my problem. The "X"s are just a sign of an error that is addressed by text in that line. – Shojajou Sep 07 '16 at 13:03
  • I don't think that is a duplicate. @MojtabaShoja says CentOS 7 and not Mac OS X. I guess that the problem is with nginx configuration, follow [this link](http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/System+Administrator+Guide#SystemAdministratorGuide-ImprovingPHPperformance) and read paragraph under `Nginx friendly URLs` – marsaldev Sep 07 '16 at 13:58
  • @sarcom I did what you said. No difference! :( – Shojajou Sep 07 '16 at 14:48
  • I'm sorry, but nginx requires different settings. – marsaldev Sep 07 '16 at 15:00
  • Yes. I found out that most of PHP frameworks have more conformity with Apache web server that nginX. But nginX is more powerful and has more speed. @sarcom – Shojajou Sep 07 '16 at 15:16
  • You're half right :). However, have you already read [this](https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/351975-using-nginx-with-ps-16-what-to-pay-attention-to/)? – marsaldev Sep 07 '16 at 15:31
