How to change Options menu dots color?

Question

I want to change Options menu's dots color to white. I tried to add image for this but dose not work. How to do this?

menu xml :

 <menu xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
    tools:context="com.example.siddhi.timetablelayout.Main2Activity">

Put it in your style.xml in AppTheme:

<!-- android:textColorSecondary is the color of the menu overflow icon (three vertical dots) -->
<item name="android:textColorSecondary">@color/white</item>

my theme is Theme.AppCompat.Light.NoActionBar. And this doesn't works for me. Can you help me? – Hari Krishnan Jul 04 '16 at 19:02

It also changes color of Radio Buttons, which is not required by most of the people. I guess. – Aown Muhammad May 03 '17 at 06:57

I think this only works if you're using your own `toolbar` (worked for me, didn't work with default action bar). Also `@color/white` should be `@android:color/white`. – daka Nov 29 '18 at 10:38

You can change the image used for it using the following style declaration.

<style name="MyCustomTheme" parent="style/Theme.Holo">
<item name="android:actionOverflowButtonStyle">@style/MyCustomTheme.OverFlow</item>

</style>
