Converting a List to comma separated string

Question

Hi I am having a requirement where I need to convert List of Long datatype to comma separated String. Which would be the appropriate way. I have thought about using string builder or converting it to List<String> and then using StringUtils join to get a String.

I am looking for java 7 solution,Not using guava or java 8.

What bout this approach: String collect = listLong.stream().map(x->String.valueOf(x)).collect(Collectors.joining(",")); listLong is reference for List — ASharma7, Jul 19 '19 at 03:34

You can try this:

StringUtils.join(mylist, ',');

See org.apache.commons.lang3.StringUtils.

That also works with `List`. The method takes an `Iterable>` – Thilo Oct 29 '15 at 08:55

It worked with org.apache.commons.lang3.StringUtils import, but NOT with com.sun.deploy.util.StringUtils. – akasha Jun 27 '19 at 10:59
