Hide Toggle navbar in Bootstrap 3

Question

I have a one page website created with Bootstrap 3, and in mobile view, if I click on a menu item, it is going to that specific section but the menu is still there.

How can I hide the menu after I hit a menu item?

Here is the sollution.

Explicitly call .collapse('hide'); on the jQuery element that you want to collapse.

Bootstrap 3 collapsed menu doesn't close on click
