Not able to access asterisk even using gc

Question

I have already asterisk in my system then I have install freepbx. Now I got following when try to start asterisk using -gc.

When using asterisk -vr I got following error.

Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)

When I start asterisk service at that time asterisk shutdown is failed.

Can any one help me to fix this issue?

Any help/suggestion would be appreciable.

Do you need the `chan_alsa.so` module? Have a look [here](http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+config+alsa.conf) and remove the `alsa` module. — Andre Hofmeister, May 26 '15 at 06:25

firewall have no any relation to socket files. – arheops May 26 '15 at 14:55
Okay Thanks @arheops, but in past i got same issue at that time i stop my firewall unfortunately my asterisk is worked. – Hemdip May 27 '15 at 05:26
firewall control IP traffic. it can't affect socket, which is filesystem – arheops May 27 '15 at 07:14

Try disable selinux or change to permissed mode.

Check owner of ctl file and compare with user in /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf

The logs / CLI you posted clearly show that it is core-dumping on trying to load the ALSA module. That's likely a problem with the sound-card driver. In the short term, you can just delete that offending module and see if Asterisk will properly load without it.
