What I want to do is to check whether the current time(not date) is between 5:00 to 11:00 OR 11:00 to 16:00 or 16:00 to 5:00. I want to check the current time in these specific time intervals. How can I do that? Please Help ! I am a newbie :( (NSHourCalendarUnit, NSMinuteCalendarUnit,NSSecondCalendarUnit has been depreciated in IOS 8)

You don't need to specify "am" or "pm" if you are using 24 hour time format. – Albert Renshaw Nov 12 '14 at 05:39
