My App is Similar like whatsapp .I want to notify the number of notification on app icon to User, similarly like whatsapp . I search on web but not got the exact solution for this.

  • It's not possible in android to show badge on the icon as android doesn't provide this feature.But you can do this badge icon for some of the device who uses custom android such as samsung, sony but not all devices uses it.You have to take care of it – Harsh Parikh Oct 18 '14 at 06:23
