I have a html page with a couple of paragraphs on it and is wrapped around a div with an id of Div1 and there is also an iframe on the page, which has form elements textbox, dropdownlist and a button which I also have access to change. I want to add some jquery to the iframe page, that hides the paragraphs in the Div1 div when the button is clicked.

Thanks

  • To my knowledge, you can not use javascript for the contents of an iframe on another domain (this is a security because normally an iframe contains another domain) – doydoy44 Mar 11 '14 at 13:22
  • Thanks Doydoy, I might stop wasting my time looking lol – user3120015 Mar 11 '14 at 13:24
  • I'm not sure I follow, but is this what you're talking about? http://matthew.delmarters.com/weblog/injecting-javascript-and-css-into-iframes/ – TylerH Mar 11 '14 at 13:28
