How to catch a function call from class name in Javascript?

Question

There is a bootstrap theme and very loaded with js, CSS and html. I try to learn what function triggered by a <li> tags hover event. I have only a working sample and a lot of js and CSS files. Any browser plugin or console technique you can suggest? I have no clue where is the class filter of <li> or which function deal with it.
