I want to add printer(not wifi/air printer) functionality in my iPad app. i.e. i'll be creating a pdf format of my bill to b printed and want to print it on any printer connected to LAN/router.As m new to ios i hvnt yet used NSStream classes. Help me with some SAMPLE CODE. -How to detect & map/setup avail. printers to my iPad app. -How to send that pdf to router with print command. Thanx.

i already mentioned tht i dnt want to use AIRPRINT..! i wnt to connect any sort of printer(without wifi fnc.) tht is connected in LAN to router.i wnt to send my file/doc with print command to tht printer.. viz. in code i shd specify port no. ip of routeretc and detect all printers in LAN and use 1 of them.. – user3189649 Jan 14 '14 at 10:37
