How to secure REST Services?

My project consists of two parts one is UI[jquery] and other is REST based WCF Service where request and response is JSON.

These two are deployed in the same IIS in two different ports.

My Question: How to secure those REST based WCF Service? for instance: http://xxxx.com/User.svc/user/auth is open to all every body could accces those services.

Please help me out.
