Questions relating to the Zilog Z8000 family of microprocessors.
The Z8000 was a 16-bit microprocessor, released by Zilog in 1979. It wasn't very successful, because the 8086 family had appeared earlier and taken substantial market share, and the 16/32-bit Motorola 68000 appeared only a few months later.
