where can I get a list of all yahoo finance stocks symbols
I remember having seen that somewhere, I can't find it any more.
Anyone knows how can I get all the list of stocks on Yahoo finance.
Or even all american stocks, maybe Russell 1000/2000/3000...

I use Yahoo finance to get financial data. How do I get a list of all the ticker symbols in NYSE, NYSEMKT and NASDAQ stock exchanges.

yahoo YQL to find industry that a ticker belongs to
YQL has different companies that are listed under an industry:
e.g. select * from yahoo.finance.industry where id="112"
Is there a way to query the table for a ticker symbol and find out to which industry the company belongs?
