A pangram sentence uses every letter of the alphabet at least once.
A pangram (or holoalphabetic) sentence for a given alphabet is a sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet at least once. A perfect pangram contains every letter of the alphabet exactly once (and hence may be considered an anagram of the alphabet).
Examples:
- "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is the most famous English pangram over the Latin alphabet.
- "Cwm fjord bank glyphs vext quiz" is a perfect pangram (where "cwm" is a loan word from Welsh, which means a steep-sided valley)
