Have me in your meal and you'll become me.

1Correct answer! But there's a slightly better word to use for line 2, and a much better word to use for line 4. How about the title? – Rand al'Thor Jun 15 '19 at 10:41

Fully correct. Your green tick will be along at some point. – Rand al'Thor Jun 15 '19 at 11:05

Thanks @Randal'Thor - it's really amazing how swiftly you created this - jafe's question was only up for 27 mins! (I especially liked the line in brackets.) – Tom Jun 15 '19 at 13:42

The bit about "yearning" in jafe's riddle made me think of that particular synonym, and I went looking for words containing it. Soon enough it was clear both that I was barking up the wrong tree for jafe's puzzle and that I had enough words to make a nice new puzzle :-) – Rand al'Thor Jun 15 '19 at 13:50
