I played guitar as a teenager; only simple 3 chord progressions and just a few structured lessons (book 2). After that I lost interest and entered the world of "working for a living", marriage, children, divorce, etc.... At age 61 I bought a guitar, then another and another and another until my wife put her foot down (at 4 guitars). I am using Steve Krenz's Learn & Master Guitar course to learn guitar correctly and orderly. I highly recommend this course of study. I also have read "Music Theory for Dummies" and I just finished a Music Theory course on Coursera internet college resources. I am hungry to learn and I love the new outlet. You won't see me on stage anytime soon but I do play for my family and friends on occasion. Mostly I play for my own enjoyment. Namaste
