When I trying to apply SUPEE-9767 in my Magento Community Edition 1.9.0.1 getting following error.

A reason could be that you modified the following files:

  • app/code/core/Mage/Core/etc/system.xml
  • app/design/frontend/rwd/default/layout/page.xml

To fix that:

  • Backup those files
  • Download the original files of your Magento version
  • Apply the patch
  • Compare your backups with the new files
  • Copy the new patched files to app/code/local/Mage/Core/etc/system.xml and app/design/frontend/<your_package>/<your_theme>/layout/page.xml (ideally you might want to apply your custom changes in a local.xml file for this one)
  • Apply your custom changes to those new copied files

I think you have modified above two files manually that's why you facing problem

So for both file follow this instruction

1) take backup of current file

2) revert this two file with orignal one

3) apply patch and manually do those changes which is in this two files

Download original files for these files (backup first)

app/code/core/Mage/Core/etc/config.xml
app/design/frontend/rwd/default/layout/page.xml

if you already did it and you tried to re-applied the patch you could be getting 

1 out of 1 hunk ignored

message it means that the patch is supposed to create that file in my case I just deleted (backup first) after deleting those files the patch was applied successfully.

Delete all files that are getting (1 out of 1 hunk ignored) message:

app/code/core/Mage/Adminhtml/Model/System/Config/Backend/Web/Secure/Offloaderheader.php
js/lib/jquery/jquery-1.10.2.js
js/lib/jquery/jquery-1.10.2.min.js
js/lib/jquery/jquery-1.10.2.min.map
app/design/frontend/rwd/default/template/checkout/multishipping/addresses.phtml

Remember to run if patch was applied successfully:

php -f shell/compiler.php clear
php -f shell/compiler.php compile

app/design/frontend/rwd/default/layout/page.xml

    Also, delete files that are getting hunk ignored after doing that run the patch
