I am a social anthropologist (Dip.Soc.Anth., B.Litt., D.Phil., Oxford, UK) and a writer. Am currently working on a project that concerns Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba. It is what I call "an explanatory text" about these four women for my Eastern Star chapter in MN. I haven't written about 'women' before. I'm interested in what others have to say about this subject, both for references and content. I am a native Oregonian, now retired from teaching in several universities in the U.S. (N.Y. University, Indiana University) and abroad (University of Ghana, United International College in Zhuhai, China, and elsewhere). My most recent publication (about the two years I spent in China) is currently available through Amazon. It is entitled The Dog Has Five Legs.
