ICU and Surgery nurse for 22 years. Surgery was exciting and mostly fun, ICU was challenging. Deployed twice to Iraq in a combat zone. Just think of MAS*H. We started off doing surgery in tents. By the time of my second deployment, we had a cinder block hardened facility. It was really nice after the tents. 22 year veteran, Air Force. Stationed all over, New York, Texas, Japan, Korea, Iraq. Married for 33 years. I can't hardly believe it myself. One daughter who will soon be starting Medical school in Fall of 2020. She will finish up her PhD in Molecular Biology this Spring 2020. She has always been such an incredible blessing.
