Tower of Babyl is a recurring limited-time event where your parties battle powerful bosses on each floor to climb the tower. Players can swap between three different parties during battle. Loot can be obtained by clearing quests and completing missions. More floors will be added in each event iteration.
This event's plot takes place after the events of What Makes the Sky Blue III: 000, Helel ben Shalem's Fate Episodes, Chapter 131 (132) Quest: Chaos Returns: Dawn, and Chapter 131 (132) Quest: Chaos Returns: Dusk.
A massive whirlwind looms on the horizon.
And suspended within its chaotic heart is
a towering mass of rocks. It is a pillar which points to calamity.
A distortion of causality, etched into the
very peace of the Sky Realm. Those who dare brave its darkest heights,
if only to save its infinite blue,
will find the unfettered forces of chaos
bearing their fangs anew.
About
How to Climb
- You can go to the next floor by clearing one quest on the current floor.
- You can move on to the next layer by defeating the boss of the current layer.
- A new layer will be added every run of the event. Quest and mission progress will be carried over to future runs.
Parties
You can form up to three parties (one main and two sub parties) to battle in this event.
- Main Party: Formed with MC and three characters. Will be the first party to battle in a quest.
- Sub Parties: Formed with four characters each. Will start each quest as reserve parties and fight in battle when the main party is knocked out or when you switch battle members.
Notes:
- MC can only be included in the main party.
- All three parties will share the same equipment and summons.
- Each party can have only four main allies and no sub allies.
- Only one version of characters with multiple versions can be used between all parties.
Battles
All battles are solo battles.
Summons and Skills in Battle
Summons:
- Summons can be called even if neither MC nor Lyria is in the current party.
- Summons can't be called if either MC or Lyria is knocked out.
- Summons can be called if Lyria is in a reserve party, but only to the normal limit of one summon per turn.
Support Skills:
- Support skills that activate while a character is a sub ally takes effect when the character is in a reserve party.
- Support skills that activate when a sub ally character becomes a main ally take effect when the character switches in to fight in battle.
Certain Skills:
- Skills that can target a sub ally in standard battles cannot be used to target an ally in a reserve party. MISS will appear when the skill Change, which switches MC with a sub ally, is used.
Reserve Party Status
The status of battle members will be saved if/when they are switched out with a reserve party. Below are listed some examples of what is saved when switching.
- HP
- Charge bar
- Times each skill has been used
- Skill cooldown
- Summon call cooldown
- Buffs and debuffs on allies
- Mode transformations
- Number of potions used

Quest Failure
A quest will be considered failed when all three parties are knocked out.
Switching Battle Members
You can switch out current battle members with a sub party by tapping the button Switch Battle Members. The battle members can be switched as many times as you like, but they can't be switched for the next three turns once switched.
Special Restrictions on Characters
The following type of characters will have certain restrictions in Tower of Babyl battles.
Characters that transform into a large form:
- Battle members can't be switched while a character is transformed into a large form.
- Details of such characters are listed in the Help article found here: tap Battle, Battles, and then Large-Form Characters.
Continuing
The continue feature allows you to resume a quest from the wave you retreated, if you retreated from wave 2 or later in your previous challenge. There is no limit to the number of times you can continue, but anything done in the battle, such as damage dealt and debuffs inflicted to both foes and allies, will be reset each time. The flawless completion loot cannot be obtained, and it will not count toward mission requirements either.
