Rare Monster

Rare monsters are miniboss enemies that have a chance of showing up in certain main and free quests. Most of them drop rare weapons required for upgrading the Knickknack Shack for the Revenant Weapons quest. (This upgrade is only required once, so multiples of these weapons are not necessary when recruiting additional Guild Wars Characters.)

There are various trophies for killing these rare monsters. Nearly all of them give 10 Crystals per trophy up to three levels, providing 30 crystals per rare monster for killing them 50 times each.

The Belle Sylphid summon's aura increases the chance of rare monsters appearing when they are available. Not all monsters on this list are technically "Rare Monster;" if they have the gold RM symbol and the special splash warning, their appearance rates are boosted by Belle Sylphid.
