I'm an assistant research specialist and lab manager for a disease ecology lab. I did my undergrad in environmental science (focusing on conservation biology and ecosystem services) and I did my master's in disease ecology, examining how land use change affects tick-borne disease risk in East Africa. I am the worst kind of ecologist: one with zero technical skills and I spend more of my day than I care to admit on StackExchance (which is why I finally made an account). My long-term life goals are to hug a native animal on each continent and I have high hopes that penguins are friendly.
