The mist browser is a tool to browse and use decentralized applications

The Mist browser is a GUI tool which is compatible with geth and cpp-ethereum is used to create accounts and deploy contracts in it. The Mist GUI is a simple but commonly used tool in the Ethereum. We have several options like:

  1. Create Wallets
  2. Create Contracts
  3. Connect to mainnet, testnet or privatenet, etc.

It syncs with the Ethereum Blockchain and creates a json private keyfile for each account created.

Other than creating accounts, the mist also is used to deploy different types of smart contracts starting from wallet contracts to simple smart contracts.
