eth.syncinggivesfalse. Is all this normal? – Shubham Chaudhary Jan 09 '18 at 07:14eth.syncingreturns false then your geth node is synced. What the output ofeth.blockNumber? – Roman Kiselenko Jan 09 '18 at 07:16--testnetflag, which I assume uses Ropsten network. And I just came to know the highest block there is 24xxxxx – Shubham Chaudhary Jan 09 '18 at 07:40gethcommand with all options and the log file. I doubt about blocknumber. – Roman Kiselenko Jan 09 '18 at 07:46./build/bin/geth --testnet --syncmode "full" --cache 2048– Shubham Chaudhary Jan 09 '18 at 07:52~/.ethereumfolder(rm -rf ~/.ethereum), and start again withfastoptions. Run withfast./build/bin/geth --testnet --fast --cache=2048 console. I've used thefastoption and don't have any problems. – Roman Kiselenko Jan 09 '18 at 07:55
