I have my degrees (BA, MA, Ph.d studies) from the US in English & Medieval Studies, specialising in Chaucer. A DEA from France. I am a published poet, editor & co-translator of two books, having received a scholarship from the Gulbenkian Society in Lisbon for that purpose in 1991. Was Maître Assistant (Professor) for 16 years at the Catholic University of Lyon, France. Also published literary & music critiques in the US & France for 20 years. Hosted radio programmes on cinema & classical music for 10 years in the US & France. A passionate lover of language, languages, literature & music, specialising in poetry, the history of English, Mozart & Britten. Work presently as official translator for the Barcelona-based Fundación Victoria de los Angeles. And have twice edited poetry books (Introductions, prefaces, etc) by US poet Phibby Venable. Am presently editing Ms. Venable for a third time, as well as a young Nigerian novelist.
