I am an English language educator, currently working in Uruguay as project manager for the British Council on the Ceibal English project, teaching state school primary children English via video-conferencing.

I am co-author of the book for teachers 'Digital Play: computer games and language aims' (Delta, 2011), winner of the 2012 ELT Innovation (ELTon) award for teacher resources, and author of the handbook for teachers 'Language Learning and Technology' (CUP, 2013), which won the ESU (English Speaking Union) HRH Duke of Edinburgh award for ELT Book of the year in 2013.
