I love the English language and I love explaining syntax and oddities to non-native speakers. There are so many weird quirks with American English that are fascinating to see from an outsider's perspective, and I do my best to explain these oddities when they come up.

I especially like answering questions regarding syntax, where a sentence's meaning is able to be understood, but the sentence would make more sense if rephrased another way.
