1Group nouns are bed, den, pit or nest, apparently. None of those sound active, though. – modulusshift Dec 21 '15 at 16:57

I've also seen that they can be called as a nightmare. – Schwale Dec 21 '15 at 19:24

Snakes don't group out of the nest so I don't believe there would be a name for a group of snakes. – MaxW Dec 22 '15 at 00:37

Presumably you are asking for the term of venery for snakes. – choster Dec 22 '15 at 14:47

A group of snakes are generally referred to as :
A Den of snakes.
A Nest of snakes.
A Pit of snakes.
A Bed of snakes.
A Knot of snakes.
But generally snakes do not hang around in groups. You do not find them together in a natural habitat unless its in a nest to hatch eggs or when they are mating.
