Is the aluminium foil usable in this condition?
As the title says, is the aluminium foil still usable in this condition?
If you notice, there's a very obvious white portion in the center of the aluminum foil and the entire roll is like that. Usually when I buy it from the store, it is pure silver…

Is there any difference between the two sides of an aluminium foil? (shiny/matte)
If so, when to use each one? For example, when covering something or when using as a pan cover to bake/cook something on top of it.

At a local shop, I regularly get burritos. They come in a wrapper that is paper on one side and aluminum foil on the other.
