I am the founder of SituChinese, a business Chinese learning group on WeChat. I majored in Chinese language and literature in Beijing Language and Culture University, and then I get my Comparative Literature master's degree in the same alma mater. After working as a journalist for years I went to Emerson College in Boston and get my IMC master's degree. I didn't realize what Chinese language really is until I use English as a workplace language, and I say, wow, I know so little about my own language, and Chinese is such a fun. Language is not only what say, but also the deeply invisible basement of our thoughts, our reaction to people and our identity, the bricks and mortar of our whole world of view.
