I thought it should be easy to pose a bone so it fits between to vertices: First move and snap the root of the bone to the first vertex v0, and then rotate the bone so that the tip of the bone snaps to the second vertex v1. (The length of the bone can be assumed to be almost equal to the length between the two vertices).
However, rotation snapping is mysterious: Its behaviour gives me no idea how this feature works. How does the rotation snapping feature works? How do I rotate and snap the tip of my bone to the other vertex? I want to move the bone from rest position to my new, precise position so that I can animate this movement.
