I'm a researcher with the Networking and Telecommunications Research team of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - Iztapalapa in Mexico City. I was born in august 1971 in Mexico. In 1995, I got an Electronics and Communications Engineering degree from the Metropolitan Autonomous University in Mexico City. In september 2000 I got a DEA degree (the French equivalent of the Master degree) on Networks and Distributed Systems (now Master of Science in Ubiquitous Networking and Computing) and in december 2004 I got a PhD in Computer Science, both from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France.
My main research interests are on performance evaluation and analysis of computer protocols and pricing wireless networks.
I serve or have served as reviewer for several international conferences and journals. Some of them are: IEEE Infocom, IEEE Globecom, ICN, IEEE JSAC, IEEE ToN, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and some others.
