CS student, 2nd year. The subjects I like best so far are compilers and anything TCS. Things with lots of math are exciting too. I know hardly any mathematics, just enough to learn more, so those subjects seem very mysterious, in a good way.

Hoping to do a masters after my degree.

Maybe a PhD too, if they will let me. But there is something that bothers me about that: whenever I meet someone who has completed a PhD, I always try to ask if they would do it again, knowing how hard it would be. They all said no. I've only asked 5 but it does unnerve me.

I think I will still do it. If I chose my area really well and hit the books for a year before beginning, perhaps I could enjoy it more than they did.
