Dafnis și Cloe
Daphnis și Cloe, intitulat în unele versiuni Daphnis și Chloe, este un roman scris de un anume Longos, despre care nu se știe mare lucru, în secolul al II-lea sau al III-lea d. Chr.

Romanul în stil bucolic vorbește despre doi tineri care locuiesc într-un sat și se îndrăgostesc puternic unul de celălalt, în deplină armonie cu natura și cu binecuvântarea zeilor. Povestea a avut o mare influență atât în literatura de mai târziu, cât și, în general, în artă (pictură, muzică etc.).
