I have installed Magento 2.1 with PHP 7.0.11 on a nginx/PHP-FPM web server. When I go to my Magento Admin URL and login with my credentials, I receive an error -
" Warning: is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/etc/pki/tls/certs) is not within the allowed path"
This appears to be an issue with Magento 2.1, as I have not come across this on my Magento 2.0 installations with the same server setup.
In order to fix the issue, I added "/etc/pki/tls/certs" to my open_basedir settings.
My questions are:
- Is this open_basedir error truly the problem, or is it being caused by something else?
- Is adding
"/etc/pki/tls/certs"to my open_basedir settings a security risk? It seems like an odd thing to add to open_basedir.
